here people. a poem I wrote for french class. will only work if you can read french. even then its a little shaky. Please keep in mind when you read this that I am not a native French speaker nor am I any good at writing poetry. REALLY REALLY. I pride myself in being able to write really awful poetry right off the bat.

you will notice that the title is "Une Réponse a un Poème par Paul Verlaine" that is because it is a response to a poem by Paul Verlaine. its called "Il pleure dans mon coeur". Its sad and well written and very beautiful.

What does any of this have to do with comics? Nothing. not a thing. but its my goddam blog and I'll publish random french poetry if I goddam want to dammit!! If I want to talk about feeding squirrls in the park and naming them then you will just have to sit there and read about the damn squirrels.

Ps. today I fed squirrls in the park. there were three of them. I named them Daniel Applebottom, Philis Applebottom, and Daedalus Applebottom. they are all named Applebottom because squirrls are inbred and they all have the same last name.

Ok, so. You know those annoying pop-up majiggers that always say something like " shoot/stab/maim/hit/tickle this popstar/politicalfigure/animal/muppet/trashcan and win a something you either have or don't want!!!!!!! (exclamation point)"? yeah. I just found one and it was like: shoot the prisoner and win a playstation!! I already have a playstation but that prisoner was just asking to be shot and I have a popup blocker anyway so I did and I shot him twice and HE DIED WITH BLOOD!!! I was SO MUCH FRIGGEN FUN!!!! heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Anyway. I would like to take this time for a moment of silence for Northstar AKA Jean-Paul Beaubier. Who sadly died at the claws of Wolverine in Wolverine #26 (or possibly 27). Heres hoping he comes back to life because I'm in the anger mode of grieving. JP will always hold a place in our heart and wolverine will always hold a place in the burning pits of hell for what he did to my beloved wonderful fantastic beautiful and utterly the best Jean-Paul. If he doesn't come back to life someone will pay.

I'm too lazy to find a phobia today. Today's word is antidisestablishmentarianism and it means that you against disinstablishmentarianism but I have no clue what that is so STOP ASKING!!.

Minons! today's spotlight is on Nightwing, my very favoritest hunk from the DCU.

Little Dick Grayson, previously Batman, broke away from the dark knight and set up his own shop in Bludhaven, opporating under the name Nightwing. He's tall, dark, handome, and a policeman!! SQUEEEEE!!!!

I absolutely LOVE this guy!!! *squeals more* !!!

Today I was luck enough to come across the greatest, mookiest, funniest fic ever. It stars everyones favorite Beast and Iceman and is entitled Midnight Twinkie Run And it absolutly the best!!

TO comemerate this fic, I have a picture of the two main characters and a twinkie. YAY! (sadly, not a very good picture)

I would also like to take this time to rember my grandfather, Nathaniel Cabell, who passed away last week. For him, I leave this picture of Ranbow Row in Charlston South Carolina, his home of 90 years.

Dear minions,

Today I went to the mall. At the mall I found the amazing wonders of ultimate Spiderman. I then proceeded to read all 9 volumes of ultimate Spiderman. That's got to be around 117 issues. How do I know this? Well, as I was perusing the shelves for volumes 5-7 I met an old and confused man looking for a present for his nephew. I was inclined to help this old confused man. I told him all about the workings of Spiderman and how the ultimate universe was different from the regular universe and why the essential books sucked. I noticed as I was explaining to him how a volume can contain many issues, that Ultimate Spiderman vol.1 has 13 issues. I read 9 volumes so 13 * 9= 117 of course, some of the volumes might have had more or less than 13 volumes so is roughly 117 issues. Yes there you see my mathematical genius.

here is ultimate Spiderman. Not to be confused with regular Spiderman. Ultimate is much cooler.

SCALPHUNTER!!!

Yes minions, it is that time again...or maybe it is that time for the first time...whatever, in which we discuss a character whom we find Fantabulous!!! (or in some cases Not fantabulous)

Scalphunter is one of my favorite bad-guys, namely because he has a connection to everyones favorite Cajun (I really don't need to tell you who that is!)

Any way, here's a picture:

He's big, he metal, and he has a reall REALLY huge gun!!!

This is what I know about Sclapy:

Real name: John Grey Crow
Mutant?: no
Current affiliation: Marauders
Ethnicity: Native American
Grey Crow was best buds with Gambit when they were living in the small town millestone Arazona (I think) He was a small time poacher. Gambit's powers went out of control and he was helped by Mr. Sinister, who then ordered him to gather together the marauders as payback. Grey Crow was one of those that Gambit hired. He was given some cybernetic dohickeys that made him...i dunno...shiney... and a lot of guns. he is now the leader of the marauders. Grey Crow has been cloned so many times that he is now a completly ruthless minion of sinister. He has been programmed to attack any and all x-men, but he doesn't want to kill Gambit, isn' that SO CUTE??? I LOVE HIM!!!!!!

Bishop!!!!

Hello Minons!!!

Today's x-man is Bishop!!!! You all know you love him!!!!

GambitGuild.com says this about Bishop;

Bishop is a mutant from a possible future that became trapped in the past. Upon returning to the past and seeing Gambit, he recognized Gambit as the "Witness", supposedly the last person from his own timeline to see the X-Men alive. Bishop had spent a part of his childhood being raised by The Witness and later worked for him in exchange for saving his dead sister's essence in holographic form.
Not long before Bishop traveled into the past, he had viewed the remnants of a recording found in his own time which implied that there had been a traitor amongst the X-Men who killed all the others. Knowing The Witness' name was LeBeau and that he still survived in his own time while all the other X-Men were dead, Bishop at first accused Gambit of being the traitor. As they worked together though and despite Bishop's distrust of Gambit, they developed something of a friendship and respect for one another. Later, the "traitor" was shown not to be Gambit in the Onslaught series.

No much about Bishop in that, more about Gambit but it was the only one I could find.
